Ringers' Dyke

Ringers' Dyke is a claycored seawall some 10 metres wide at its base, with its highest point some 1.6 metres above the highest sea level recorded at that time. it is some 11 kilometres long, from Sungai Bera in the east to Sungai Mumong in the west. The dyke was completed in 1957. Since then, BSP has invested a lot of money and effort to construct and repair defences against flooding by heavy rain and king tide.
