Product / Service categories allows Vendors to be registered for certain work scope. When certain work is required, only Vendors registered in that product / service category will be invited for Tender.

Each Product / Service category requires different levels of capabilities and development efforts. As part of BSJV's effort in developing local Bumiputera companies, these Product / Service categories are classified into different Local Business Development (LBD) quadrants.

The Local Business Development (LBD) quadrants are divided into Highly Specialised, Core, Development and Basic.
