  • Liquilite™ Technology

by Rusydi Haji Rusli | Jun 22, 2020

Liquilite™, which has been a proven technology in Brunei, helps our customers eliminate bulk blending. It also saves valuable silo space in both on and offshore operations, minimizes the need for specialized contingency blends, and enables tailoring of cement slurry density on location.

As part of the contract extension, which also includes more efficient pricing, Halliburton has committed to creating more employment opportunities in the area. To achieve this goal, the CMT group installed a regional Liquilite™ Blending Plant. The plant is Halliburton’s first in the Southeast Asia/AP region and will serve as a hub to support future demand for product in the area.

The first batch of blended product was finalized in early March and was sent to Petronas in Malaysia. It was the first job successfully executed in the PVD-5 offshore rig.
