The I-Usahawan is an initiative led by the Ministry of Energy targeted to the Rakyat Jati youths to encourage entrepreneurship and support these youths to start, own and grow their own business and secure their first contract with BSJV companies.

This programme is open to Rakyat Jati business owners, aged between 18-40 years old and with no prior contracts with BSJV companies, Government or Government linked companies. Short listed companies shall be invited to attend a start-up accelerator programme prior to the Invitation of Tender. Successful participants will be awarded a 3-year contract, access to BSJV Credit Facility Programme and experienced business mentoring throughout the contract period.

I-Usahawan requirements:

• Bumiputra / Rakyat Jati
• Aged between 18 - 40 years old
• No prior contract with BSJV companies, Government or Government Linked Companies
