 Safety Day allows all staff and business partners the opportunity to have meaningful conversations around safety in the workplace across all BSP assets, onshore and offshore. 

On June 5, 2024, BSP launched its Safety Day with the theme “Before I Start Work”, alluding to a crucial element in safety: preparation. "Before I Start Work", which emphasises possible risks associated with any work and the importance of preparing the mitigations needed.  

Safety remains, and will always be, the priority in BSP’s operations. While safety is integrated into the everyday work culture, Safety Day is the one day of the year where all personnel are empowered to discuss and reflect on BSP’s safety performance and promises.   

Kicked off at the Atrium of BSP Head Office, this year’s Safety Day featured a dialogue session between staff and leadership teams, as well as booths featuring various safety topics. Here, attendees get the chance to know more directly from project owners and leaders.

While the celebration was kicked off on June 5, Safety Day engagements took place for a whole month from the launch day, which allowed all BSP staff and business partners to have meaningful conversations and renew their pledges for safe way of working, and safe way of life to make sure that You and I Will Go Home Safely.
