Bandar Seri Begawan, May 17, 2025 – Brunei Shell Joint Venture (BSJV) companies held the BSJV Long-Service Emblem. The event celebrated 237 employees for their continuous commitment and contributions with BSJV.
Present as Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, Deputy Minister (Energy) at the Prime Minister's Office.
Also in attendance were Senior Government officials: Yang Mulia Dayang Hjh Farida Binti Dato Seri Paduka Hj Talib, Permanent Secretary at the Prime Minister's Office, Yang Mulia Awang Muhammad Nizam bin Haji Ismi, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (Energy) at the Prime Minister's Office, Yang Mulia Awang Shamir bin Salahuddin, Managing Director Petroleum Authority of Brunei Darussalam, key leaders from across the BSJV including Yang Mulia Johan Atema, Managing Director of Brunei Shell Petroleum Sdn Bhd (BSP); Yang Mulia Adeleye Falade, Managing Director and CEO of Brunei LNG Sdn Bhd (BLNG); Yang Mulia Mohammed Alexirwan bin Haji Omar, Managing Director of Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd(BSM); and Yang Mulia Henry Frank Bristol, Vice President and Country Chair, Shell Companies in Brunei Darussalam. Their presence, along with members of the BSJV Board of Directors and leadership teams, highlighted the collective appreciation for the employees' enduring service.
The event witnessed the presentation of long-service emblems recognizing employees who achieved remarkable milestones of 25, 30, 35, and an impressive 40 years of dedicated service to the BSJV in the years 2023 and 2024. This recognition underscores the BSJV's appreciation to its main asset – the people and the value they have shown on long-term expertise and experience within the organization.
“All this was achieved while we continuously developed the next generation of engineers, IT scientists, programmers, accountants, leaders, but most importantly Bruneians – all towards the sustained development of Brunei’s high quality of life.” shared Mr. Johan Atema, BSP’s Managing Director acknowledging the experiences they have is valuable to share and drive our young talents towards achieving Wawasan 2035.
